I recently moved to Baltimore. This book was very helpful in getting a sampling of the region has to offer. It is also great for ideas when family and friends friends visit and you have to find something for them to do.

Summary: "The book's information about Western Maryland is great."
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend exploring Western Maryland due to this book. We have driven through Western Maryland many times and nothing seemed to make us want to stop and explore the area. This book did. We saw beauty, found a wonderful place to eat and enjoyed some simple shopping.
